Most executive problems do not arrive labelled correctly.
Revenue drops and looks like a sales issue. Reputation damage looks like a PR issue. Internal conflict looks like an HR issue. Regulatory pressure looks like a compliance issue.
Sometimes it is one of those things.
Often, it is the system underneath.
AdnSol works with founders, CEOs, and senior leaders who are dealing with problems that do not respond to standard advice — because the department reporting the problem is not the source of it. The presenting issue is real. The diagnosis, however, is incomplete.
When CEOs Bring Me In
The situations that tend to require this kind of work share a common characteristic: the explanation keeps shifting, or the fix keeps not working. Specifically:
- Revenue is falling and the explanation keeps changing
- Internal teams are misaligned or politically contaminated
- Leadership cannot get a clean version of the truth
- Reputation issues have internal roots
- Regulatory or legal pressure is affecting business decisions
- A key person, partner, or department may be distorting the system
- The CEO feels something is wrong but each adviser is seeing only one piece
These are not edge cases. They are the normal condition of any organisation under pressure. The difference is that most advisory relationships are structured around a single function — legal, financial, strategic, communications — and cannot see across the whole picture. That structural limitation is where dysfunction takes root.
What I Do
My role is diagnostic before it is prescriptive. I am not brought in to validate an existing narrative. I am brought in because the existing narrative has stopped making sense.
- Diagnose the real problem, not the reported one
- Map incentives, power, risk, and information flows across the organisation
- Separate symptoms from causes with enough precision to act on
- Identify who benefits from the current confusion — intentionally or otherwise
- Create a practical action plan that the leadership can execute
- Support execution where needed, without creating dependency
This is not strategy consulting in the conventional sense. It does not produce frameworks or slide decks. It produces clarity — about what is actually happening, who is responsible, and what needs to change.
What This Is Not
This is not executive coaching. It is not leadership development. It is not open-ended general guidance. AdnSol takes on specific, complex engagements where the stakes are high and the standard advice has already been tried.
The work is confidential by nature. It often involves sensitive internal dynamics, commercial exposure, or reputational risk that cannot be discussed through normal advisory channels. Discretion is not a service feature. It is a functional requirement.
Starting the Conversation
I usually begin with a confidential diagnostic conversation. The purpose is simple: to understand whether the issue is strategic, operational, reputational, or behavioural — and whether I am the right person to help.
There is no obligation attached to that conversation. If the problem falls outside the scope of what I do, I will say so directly. If it does not, we can discuss what a focused engagement would look like.
If your organisation is under pressure and the standard explanation no longer fits, start with a confidential diagnostic conversation.
If the visible explanation no longer makes sense, the problem may be deeper than the department responsible for reporting it.
That is where I work.
